How to Set up Your Audio Station

Witlingo Audience Stations enable you to easily collect and publish User-Generated Content (UGC) in audio format.

Enabling your Audience to Post Audio

To collect audio content, you can embed a Witlingo-provided javascript snippet into your web page by logging into your Witlingo account, going to the Station page and then copying the Web "Recorder embed code"

In your web page, paste the snippet and you will see something like this appear on the page:

Here is an example of someone's recorder page.

Once you have embeded the code in your website, your audience can record feedback, stories, questions, and more.

The recording will be automatically leveled, processed for noise, and scanned for profanity, then made available to you for review before publishing.

Accepting/Archiveing Audio Posts

Whenever someone reacords an audio, an email alerting you to the recording will be sent to you.

The email alert will be sent to the email address that you specify in your Settings.

The email that you will receive will look like this.

From the body of the email, you can not only see who posted the audio, read the subject and the note that the poster may have provdied, but also listen to that audio and decide whether you want to accept it or archive it.

Alternatively, you can also login to your Witlingo account and manage the posts directly from there.

To give you full control of what appears in your audio station, any audios that are posted will appear first as posts.

No audios posted will be visible in your audio station until you have accepted them.

To accept an audio, first click on "Posts" on the vertical left menu.

This will take you to a page that looks like this.

This will show you all of the audios that have been posted and that are pending your approval.

Click the "Edit" button of any post that you wish to inspect.

This will take you to a screen that looks like this.

To archive it, click on "Archive".
